For the month of March, we would like to invite everyone to join the upcoming arts and culture event entitled: Artistic Actions in Practice in the Mekong Region hosted by the College of Communication, National Chengchi University (NCCU) Taiwan. This six-evening program will be in English, and is free and open to the public; for both in-person (in Taipei) participants and online viewers.

Can art really create a revolution and change the world?

Arts and culture can play an important role in inspiring change within any society or community, and the Mekong is no exception. This series of talks will take you on a sail to the Mekong region, and meet the artists and cultural actors who engaged themselves in community art projects; arts for social change; and the artistic strategies for dealing with censorship.

11 experienced art and culture practitioners will share their stories on the six-evening journey.
